I'm not gay, so me speculating is just that, speculation. But, I do have several gay friends, both male and female, who I have asked this very question. They have all told me that they do not believe that anyone is born gay, they have chosen to be with people of the same sex.

But you don't see how males could be attracted to other males?

Uh, no.

My struggle with that is that there is a reason they chose.

I chose to be attracted to females. Why?

Maybe this is just "guy logic" but I can see where females are attracted to to other females.

I'd say its definitely "guy logic". I also agree.

I hit yes accidentally but meant hit no.

That is what they all say! :D

Single women experimenting like that is downright prevalent in my experience.

In my experience if you take a hot, single woman; chances are more than 50% of them have had sexual encounters with other women. I know that % sounds crazy...

And I agree the majority of those women are either bisexual or just looking for a good time like UK mentioned.

As to guys, I have no idea but I agree with Andrew Dice Clay, you either suck dick, or you don't suck dick.

Good point.

I just wanted to know if I had a chance.

There is nothing wrong with two attractive females going at it....In fact, some might call that the jackpot.

I voted no, but agree with your sentiments on the subject.

Also, for those people who are undecided, it may help to consider the opposite of the question being posed. In other words, is being straight a choice? Do straight people purposely gravitate towards people of the opposite sex or is it a naturally occurring, subconscious attraction? Thinking about it that way may help some people answer the "Is being gay a choice?" question. Just a thought....

Brings me back to my post earlier in this thread. In my opinion it comes back to nature vs. nurture again. I don't think we are born straight or gay, however the vast majority of us are straight because that was so ingrained into us through our interactions, relationships, and things we didnt' even realize at a young age.

As we grow up, some people realize that there are other options because of more interactions and things that you may not even realize affect you.

I told you why in post #11, but it was probably too wordy for everyone and they don't expect that from me haha!

I believe this to be the best possible answer.

Also, as guru crudely quoted Andrew Dice Clay, I know women that will have sex with other women, or threesomes with a woman and a man, and do not consider themselves gay or bi-sexual, they just consider it something they do for fun. Men do not do that, men are either gay, or not gay, there is no in between. Sexist? No, it's just the way it is

Maybe this is just "guy logic" but I can see where females are attracted to to other females.

The vast majority of lesbians that I know, are not exactly the females that I'm attracted to. I think bi-sexuals tend to be the more attractive ones. (How's that for lack of scientific evidence?)

I just wanted to know if I had a chance.

You'd have to buy me some Orange Leaf first.

The nature v nurture logic sounds rational until you think of a house where every child is straight except one. Did he get nurtured differently?
