I like CC in this one. CC stumbled badly out of the gate last time and still had enough to get the win on the road. At home and playing a cleaner game they should get the win.

 

HOWEVER, CC is getting into unchartered waters as they get deep into the playoffs. Knowing that they are playing an opponent that they have beaten and the newness of being a favorite at home in round two, cannot get in the way of getting better this week. Playing as good as they did five weeks ago will not be good enough. Days off of school this week can be a help or hindrance to preparation.

After watching the first game I see it as CC has the best football player on the field but SK had the next best 3 or 4. If SK can make Dunham throw the ball they win this game if not they will struggle again. A few key plays and crititcal turnovers were the difference last time and probably will be again. Two team very close in skill level so I will take the one with the chip on their shouldet from the loss SK 35 CC 28.

Have you watched CC play recently? Still no one from SK has said how they will stop Durham.

It was DRY and played on turf the last time. Campbell needs to play 4 quarters (Coach Lickert will agree) if they do, I like them winning this one. Offensively, CCHS has started to put things together and just does not have 1 or 2 weapons. I have said this all year, you do not get better playing the schedule SK has and I think eventually, this will bite them in the butt. I could be completely wrong but I think strength of schedule pays off in the post season!

Thanks for pointing out the first game was dry and on turf. What I'm trying to say is that if the weather is bad it won't be beneficial to the SK offense. On the other side CC has a QB who I imagine is a pretty good mudder.

Kuntz needs 51 yards and he will pass for 2000 yards this season! Sampson needs 123 yards to rush for 1000 yards this season.
