This looks to be a great match up. Russell co. with maybe their best team ever and Boyle with their injuries cleared up

and just beginning to play their best football. Either of these teams are good enough to take on and beat any of the other

teams in 4A. Knox Cent. will provide a real challenge for Lex. Cath. and is the type team to give them all they want and

more. Highland is not ubeatable and must beat a good Cov. Cath. team for the second time this year.Hey, this is what we

have waited all season for, a very competitive field from top to bottom.

Agreed. These next few weeks will be fun.

This will be a very interesting conversation leading up to game time. Russell County has been playing great ball all year. Boyle has been playing great teams all year. The rebels will come into Russell County injury free and be on a mission to show how playing such a difficult schedule pays off in the post season.

They both have good speed. I think speed will only be a factor if the defense allows it. So if it's shut down, how well they are able to make adjustments will have a great impact on the momentum of the game. I have been very impressed with Boyles passing game lately.

My prediction: Alot of hype this week--the game will start out fast--then the Rebels will settle in and show Russell what they've been hoping wasn't true all year..

Boyle 35

Russell 14

I wish I could be at this game. Boyle is arguably the best team Russell County has faced so far but Russell County is not the best team Boyle County has faced this year. I think it will be a tight game to the end.

LexCath would have home field over Boyle. What if Boyle and Knox Central win? Who has home field?

Not sure

I''m pretty sure with Mercer and Marion getting beat Boyle has no chance to another home game.

Pretty sure we are odd district in even year. That would mean:

If Boyle was to win they would travel to either Lex Cath or Knox

If Russell wins they will host Lex Cath or Knox

If Lex Cath Wins they would host Boyle or play at Russell

If Knox Wins they would play at Russell or Home against Boyle.

Well, then, hey, next Friday I"m a Boyle fan! Send me the cap.

That's right. Here's a chart to make it a little simpler:

L/B - LexCath hosts

L/R - Russell Co. hosts

K/B - Knox Central hosts

K/R - Russell Co. hosts

I will be rooting for my second favorite BCHS team.
