I'll take a W anyway we can get it. I don't think this will be as high scoring as everyone thinks. I believe Boyle will have long drives to keep Russell's O off the field using up time. I like Boyle 24-17

I really like the way the offense has been playing. I can see Russell getting some late scores to make it close but I think we'll be fine. I feel like we'll score 35. Just not sure what they will score.

What does Russell do on offense....run? throw? mix it up...

They do both, but have a very good senior running back with very impressive numbers. Their QB is good as well with some of their receivers showing several catches to their credit. They would appear to run first and pass second. Remember the saying that defense wins championships and this game will probably follow very true to that. I think that strength of schedule will show up in this game and for this reason I am picking Boyle to win 28 to 14.

Actually, I think Russell plays quite a few both ways also so fatigue shouldn't be a problem.

Here's my take on the game. Boyle County has played a much tougher schedule and is used to playing in games of this magnitude. Russell County will not be the biggest, fastest or best team that Boyle has played this season. Boyle County will be the best team that Russell County has faced. The environment will not phase the Rebels. Russell County has an excellent team but the Lakers are something like 3-21 in the playoffs all time--this is uncharted territory for them and the biggest game in the program's history. They will be sky high and I think they will hang with the Rebels for awhile. But emotion can be dangerous. Especially when things don't go to plan. I think the Rebels schedule has them better prepared for the pressure of a game like this and they pull away late and win 35-24.
