October 31, 201213 yr I'd love to have Wright and if they ask for Frazier oh well. I may be in the minority here and I hope I'm wrong but I think 2 years from now Todd Frazier will be a forgotten man.
October 31, 201213 yr I think it would be worth the risk with BP, Votto, Wright, and Bruce at 2-3-4-5. Frazier went in the tank the last month of the season but that happens a lot with young guys. I think he is ready to play 140 games now at this level. If he hits .265 in LF that will be good enough. CF would obviously still be the huge key. Another reason why he probably went into the tank the last month of the season was because he was no longer playing all the time was he? He seemed at his best when he was in the lineup everyday, which most people would be at their best when they are playing all the time. However if we have to lose him to get Wright, I would be all for that!

Some fans tend to forget that other teams have scouts and watch enough of Drew Stubbs to realize he's garbage; a virtual out every time he steps to the plate. But I don't think there are many of those fans on this site. He'd be the "throw in" guy rather than the centerpiece. I think we all realize that, Bench.
October 31, 201213 yr It's all about necessity. If they want to cut payroll, you'll get away with sending prospects or bench guys. If they need an OF and are willing to give up Wright, you may need to send two OF'ers since Stubbs has proven he can't do it. Depends on what the Mets feel they "need".
