Too Bad Highlands & Bowling Green are no longer in the Same Class

Featured Replies

So are you talking about the "is Bowling Green #2 in the State" thread?

Yes. Good stuff in that one.

Go ahead and throw the comparitive scores. In the 3 years discussed Highlands lost to the same opponent 2 of the years and Highlands was the champion the other year. So Highlands 1 Bowling Green 0, as far as state championships during those three years.

I asked it because Boyle could throw some comparative scores out during their 2009 and 2010 title seasons that could make similar cases vs. the Birds.

Paging Johnson Central.

I see you joined BGP this season. When you have some time you absolutely must check out this thread from last season. Classic thread IMO. :D

You must be bored. No reason to be digging up bones from last year. Both threads are similar, now I think your stirring the pot! LOL

One good thing about last years thread, Highlands fans were correct about beating Boyle this year.

Where is all the Boyle and BG posters? :idunno:

Anything in last years post and this years post that is derogatory towards Highlands, you have the big "like" symbol in it. Have you noticed that.

I brought it up for the poster who mentioned a Highlands and BG game being played last year. The Highlandsfan#1 M.O. skip over posts and start writing their own without looking for reason. Love how you guys always answer to a reply without seeing what the reply was to.

Most if not all Boyle posters expected Highlands to win the game this year in August and likely in November. And next year and the year after that. We can get that out of the way now since that is hardly groundbreaking information.

Same place they have always been. Sitting here chilling minding our own business until called out.

I'm one of the more generous posters on here. I see something that I like then I'll click like. I have liked over 2K posts to date. I'm only on page 3. There are many more to like in that thread. I do like how any post that isn't kissing Highlands booty is deemed derogatory. Like it is against the rules or something. Derogatory.

I'm confused now. If I hit "like" on this, am I "stirring the pot?"

That or you 'liked' a derogatory post.

Like the point you were trying to make in the thread you pointed out. You wrote. "I know John Hardin kept Boyle from scoring for the first time since 1998 and Highlands didn't." I know Highlands didn't keep Boyle scoreless last year but, refer to Highlands first matchup with Boyle in 2004. I stopped reading after that.

Quote what post I skipped over in this thread. After that, I am done talking about Boyle Co., the bolded proves they no longer need to be in this conversation.

I thought we were talking about BG?

That was the rebuttal to your comparative scores logic but now that the comparative scores logic backfires on you then you switch your argument up. I see what's going on here.

I have already shown you what posts you skipped over. Twice.

And it still hasn't been responded to.

No WE (As in the rest of Bluegrass preps)were talking about BG , then you changed the subject in post #19 of this thread.

The Highlands Bowling Green game won't be played it looks like for a couple of years. I like Bowling Green, my brother-in-law went to school there. I follow them each week and I cheer for them. I think it would be a toss-up this year on who would win. At a neutral site I think Highlands would be a very slight favorite. BG, IMO would be favored at home and Highlands would be favored at home as well. This would definatley be a good game to watch, but it is not going to happen...

I think it will happen one day. Just not before 2015.

I changed the subject AFTER the subject was changed from Highlands/BG to all of Highlands accomplishments in the first sentence in post #16 and after Boyle County was first mentioned by hoosierbirdfan in post #17. But it's okay when you guys change the subject......

When you changed the conversation you literally said, I will deflect this. Look I am over it but here is your quote.

So I'll deflect to this....

5 in row? Big deal. Been there and done that with Boyle. Remember them? The ones who set the record you hope to beat this year? The ones who set the bar when it comes to winning championships in a row? The ones who showed you guys that you were good....but not good enough......and made you do some self reflecting? The ones who allegedly ran the score up on you in the state finals? I'll even go further. Be glad you went down to 4A. It'd have been so sweet to see BG end your streak at 4 last year. Too bad you'd rather play Paducah Tilghman than in the Rafferty's Bowl. Maybe in 2015.
