Were you there tonight? The kid was a flat out stud and carried his team to victory. Without Barker, Conner loses this game by 3 TD's. Please tell me you are joking. He was clutch and that is exactly what you want out of your QB when the game is on the line. I was very impressed with his poise down the stretch. I also was very impressed by Castleman from Scott. Kid reminds me of Bruns from Dixie from a year ago.

I was there. Barker is good, and probably the best quarterback I've seen this year. That being said, he did not look good under pressure. He threw a terrible pick early. He did play better in the 4th, but he got a lot more time in the 4th to throw. He was pretty much average the first three quarters, and the big pass plays at the end were more blown coverages, than tough plays that Barker made. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him on my team, but what I saw tonight was an above average high school QB, not a D1 superstar. He's not in the same universe that Towles was.

Back-to-back 1000/1000 seasons and now over 3,000 total yards this year after soph year of 2700 yards where he missed 2 1/2 game.

Fogle has been the go to guy for Barker all year so it was good to see some others pick up the slack.

"Go to" in what sense? I'd argue Fogle's touches have been somewhat limited due to there being a lot of weapons and the ball being spread around in both passes and rush attempts. His "per" number is crazy.

Did Fogle get hurt in a game? I don't remember reading about this anywhere. Tough loss for Conner if he's out for any period of time. Sounds like it was a great game. Best of luck to both teams the rest of their way.

Did Scott run the double wing? I know they had started using it some and didn't know if it was their main offense now.

They've run quite a bit of the double wing all year, and have been pretty effective with it. Defensively is where Scott has struggled.

Here's hoping Brian Loney from Conner recovers quickly. Did not sound good last night as the prognosis was an ACL tear.
