I agree Fogle is the "straw that stirs the drink" for Conner. Love Barker but if I was starting a team Fogle is my #1 pick. Love Castleman from Scott. No one does more with less than him and that is stated as a compliment. One of the most hard-nosed kids in NKY. Way and McKeehan ran well for Conner last night. I am interested in seeing how they will mesh when Fogle returns. Padgett was clutch again with several tough catches including a 60 yd td reception for the game winner and two 2 pt conversion catches in the 4 qtr.

Final thought- I had not been to the Scott complex in a few years. Absolutely a beautiful facility now. No one has anything better in the 9th/10th Region.

They've run quite a bit of the double wing all year, and have been pretty effective with it. Defensively is where Scott has struggled.

Did Fogle get hurt in a game? I don't remember reading about this anywhere. Tough loss for Conner if he's out for any period of time. Sounds like it was a great game. Best of luck to both teams the rest of their way.

They run it well. The issue is if you can get them in 2nd or 3rd and long, they are going to struggle. They don't throw the ball well. The only team they didn't really move the ball against on the ground this year was Cooper.

 

They return almost everybody next year, and they will have a shot at winning the district next year.

I would think since it is not their full time offense they don't have it figured out. This is a guess but I bet they are pretty much just using the base power, counter, trap, wedge and sweep. If they go full time to it and expand it a little it will help.

They really have turned it around in Taylor Mill. A team mostly based around its junior class, Scott will be a team to watch out for next year.
