bigstick23 Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Scott Coming off a loss now is 12-4 going into one of the biggest games this year against a very good Brossart team. This game should come down to the buzzer and i don't think it will be very high scoring. I think that Brossart when push comes to shove will have no answer for Howard, and it is at Scott so that is why i give the edge to Scott. Scott- 57 Brossart- 53

Brossart does have two answers for Howard, Cooper and Mutsch.
NEERFAN Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I think Brossart's physical style will take it's toll on the Eagles. BB 55 Scott 52.
bigstick23 Posted January 15, 2006 Author Posted January 15, 2006 Brossart does have two answers for Howard, Cooper and Mutsch. I'll give you that, but i will still take Howard, were Brossart has to win this game is in the guard play, the have a big advantage and need to use it if they want to win. They will not win the game if they think they are going to score on and stop Howard.
Jump Shot Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I wouldn't worry about Brossart on "D", Having the Code boys on the sideline gives them a huge advantage considering they are the best defensive minds in NKY. Anytime you play Brossart it's like pulling teeth, I'm curious to see how Scott responds to this type of game, they look a little more comfortable running then they do grinding. The key to the game is going to be the Scott guards, they have to play well to have a chance.
ccveteran Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Interesting to see how Scott responds after a tough loss to Russell. Scott's schedule from this point is extremely difficult. Brossart has enough good size to make Howard earn every bucket. Scotts guards will have to handle Brossarts half court defense. Scott's depth or lack of depth is going to start playing a role in their success/failure the rest of the season.
shooterx3 Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Scott is a better outside shooting team, Brossart is a better defensive team, I think Brossart is a little more physical inside, have to go with the defense though, Brossart 55 scott 49

Same can be said if Scott plays there style of basketball, If Scott gets the game going up and down the floor Brossart could be in trouble.

All Play No Work Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Quite possibly a low scoring game but one I believe Brossart will win. Things are never easy on the road, but I still think Brossart wins and maybe by a comfortable margin.
Old Soda Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 They may be able to go up and down the floor but they still haven't proven they can hit the outside shot when they have to.

GoldenBoy23 Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Cooper is extreamly Phyisical Howard seems to do better against guys his Height but struggles agaisnt the 6'3 6'4 thick phyisical guys that can bang him around. Key is very simple i think somebody posted earlier for Scott to win it lies in the hands of the out side game. Scott has to limit turnovers Brossart feasts of turnovers.....

Cooper & Mutsch both have enough size to bang with Howard. Howard will still get his 10-12 boards but will he get enough quality looks to score 15-20 pts the Eagles will need. Match up that will decide the game will be Uebel & Seiter versus Sharp & Whitehead.
