Anyway congrats on the win last night. Also good luck next week. I was curious, do you all like having a bye so early in the season? I wondered why you all had it the first week unless scheduling just wasn't able to be worked out.

The Conner players band and cheerleaders are on the visitors side of the field. What do u want them to do, walk down the track. Football players try to stay off the track the best they can because football cleats are really not good for it. Drop the Hammer all I have for you is a "come on man"

It looked like the ball came out while the hand was going backward thus the ball going back and off to Batkers right. Would have to see film. Would have been a back breaker for Conner if it was a ruled a fumble. The refs did a nice job last night.

Oops meant Barker of course. And just for my Conner friends, the field was like concrete in the middle and dry everywhere on the surface with very good footing and the sideline like concrete and dusty until the last half of the 3rd quarter. This information courtesy of those intimidating cheerleader crossing Ryle players. LOL and get ready for Campbell.

Ryle has really dropped off this year. Would be interesting to see if Coach Warner's job is in jeopardy.

Have all of the coaches that started the year on Ryle's staff remained on Ryle's staff? Or has one left?

Did anybody else think that was a fumble by Conner's QB that would have been a Ryle TD instead of an incomplete pass? Think it happened in the 3rd quarter. Not sure how an official can call it that way when the ball goes backward. But they did!

Are you seriously pulling out the "If you haven't played you don't know what you're talking about" crap????? First off, you have no idea who I am and what I played growing up. Secondly, please inform us what NFL team you played for? With a name like yours I would guess you are a female and haven't played squat. If by chance you have played professionally I'd still debate you on your knowledge of the game, shoot Akili Smith I previously thought may have been the dumbest professional athlete I knew, but maybe you want that award.

 

I'm still waiting for 1 single post from you that even talks about the game of Football itself. Instead you are more concerned about Cheerleaders and wether or not your crochet club is meeting on Tuesday night.

Man, last night got rough fast. I think the temp dropped 20 degrees in 20 minutes it felt like. It was funny watching the players at our game last night, as it got colder the players started huddling closer and closer to eachother lol. They looked like a bunch of penguins waddling closer to eachother.

Cooper was also very respectful. When they were trying to take the field they were blocked by the Conner cheerleaders so went around and had to take the fieeld from the 25 yard line. Much diffrent than what was said by the Conner folks on here who claimed Cooper ran through the Conner sideline to get to the endzone. But to tell you the truth, when some Conner fans are still wading in the pool of Jealousy towards the Cooper team who for the second year in a row will finish better in the district than Conner I guess they need to make crap up to take care of their whiney ways.

I agree that the sideline, cheerleader issue is irrelevant to the game and to this thread for that matter. Conner's field is really not setup in the best way so there is really no great way for either team to enter the field. With this in mind, the sideline and cheerleader talk should be abandoned and this thread should stick to talking about last nights game. However Hellbird, your comments concerning Conner fans being jealous towards Cooper for finishing higher in the district two years in a row are completely erroneous. Anyone who was at the Conner-Cooper game last week would agree that Conner controlled that game from start to finish. So to suggest Conner fans are jealous is ridiculous because based off of last week I don't think any Conner fans are scared of playing Cooper again. Conner may not finish as high in the district standings but they certainly validated their stance as the better team with last weeks win.

I said some of the fans. actually 2 - 3 fans, the rest are fine. If you read all my postts about this including last weeks posts, I said Conner was the better team THAT night and never said anything different. I was only pointing out the fact that no matter what happened in that game it would be just like last year and was bringing up that point. Where after Conner's loss to Cooper last year and Cooper going undefeated in district there were about 2-3 Conner fans on here that simply couldn't swallow their pride and actually admit that Cooper may not only be good, but actually may have been better than their Conner team.

 

 

As far as the Conner fans, I've already stated several times I am very good friends with many of them. As a matter of fact I spent last weeks game standing on the side of the field inside the fence with one of Conner's parents. We had a great time. That coment was simply using those few fans criteria they used last year on them this year to see what they would think.

 

Now as far as the Cheerleader thing, I also think it may be the dumbest thing ever put in this thread, but as you could see it was those very same fans who brought it up in the first place.
