Clyde Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I saw a tweet that said Ryle went down. Upset, right? Hasn't Ryle been crushing teams? Congrats to the Colonels.
BlueBirdWarrior Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 I really wanted to go to this game tonight but could not. It is potentially good news for HHS that Ryle lost. However, HHS still needs to beat Ryle next week to be able to play Beechwood in the championship. Despite Beechwood being the best team in NKY, the best team doesn't always win. Another crack at the Tigers would be nice.

BlueBirdWarrior Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 No, I don't think Ryle Frosh losing is good news for HHS. Not at ALL. By saying it is not good news, are you implying this loss will make Ryle more hungry to beat HHS?
fan4nascar Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Wow, big win for Dixie! Looks like the freshmen championship is up for grabs.

Oldbird Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 No, I don't think Ryle Frosh losing is good news for HHS. Not at ALL. In football, Highands, at every level gets everyone in nky's best shot. Ryle losing was pretty much a non-event for Highlands.
oldtiger Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 The Highlands arrogance gets too much to stomach at times.
Imhisdad Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Not seen Ryle play, but this one shocks me. After watching Dixie get pretty much handled in Ft. Mitch last week, and reading the raves on Ryle, would have never picked it. Raiders perhaps caught looking past Colonels to Birds?
Clyde Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 The Highlands arrogance gets too much to stomach at times. You need some thick skin to get into a HHS thread. It's not for all.

Wasn't it close most of the way? I am just asking because you talk like it was an easy win for the Tigers (i.e.handled) and that wasn't the impression I got from reading about that game.

I'm guessing because of scoring on the questionable fair catch punt return and the short field after the fumble. But don't know for sure. I didn't see the game, just read about it here.
