October 1, 201213 yr I'v never had El Coyote so I'll have to give it a try when it opens. I still don't think anything will make it there. It's not easy to get in and out of and it's not in a hop of the expressway or AA and grab something location. Buckskin Bev's and previous Red River Cattle Company were successful there because they were the only game in town. From what I've been told Bev's started losing money once other places started opening up and nothing has came close to success since.
October 1, 201213 yr If I recall, Bev's failed when they started widening US 27 and totally screwed up any way to enter or exit the restaurant during that time.
October 1, 201213 yr I agree, that location has been tough for all of the businesses ever since Buckskin Bev's closed. Another location in particular that seems to be bad for restaurant business is the location near the graveyard and old IGA grocery store in Highland Heights. Shamrocks was in it for a while than had a few others. The last I remember changed locations to Wilder and it stayed vacant for a while. Now, I think there is a business in it called the Blue Buffalo. This was the old JoyceAnn Inn?
