Sounds about right. Apparently Highlands sat a bunch of starters too.

Double-digit starters for Highlands did not play in this one. Birds ran 0 running plays & basically played their JV the entire. HC fans I was near were good hosts and complimentary. Good popcorn. Jensen Feggins had a nice game, caught at least 2 TD passes.

Why did the starters not play? I can see getting a lead and resting them, but it seems odd for starters not to at least get a few reps.

McCoy was 16/20 345 yards and 5 TDs.

Houliston was 9/13 141 yards and 3 TDs.

With McCoy and Houliston getting these kinds of numbers, it looks as if the offense will be an extremely well balanced machine come November.

Saw one of the weirdest plays I have ever seen last night at the game. First play from scrimmage Thomas Wrobleski picks up a fumble and runs it back for an apparent touchdown. Thomas decides he is going to spike the ball. A flag is thrown and I am thinking 15yd penalty on the kickoff. The refs gather for a few minutes and put the ball on the 20yd line with no score on the scoreboard. The Harrison offense comes back out and so does the HHS defense. What do you think the call was?

Lol. Heard he was heading to endzone and spiked it befoire he crossed goal line. The ball apparently went out of endzone and became a touchback. Not sure what happened to penalty that was called. I guess HC declined and took ball.

Correct sir....You couldn't tell from the stands that he spiked the ball before he ran into the endzone..Strange play...lol

Heck, if that was me, I would probably have done a flip before the endzone. Stumblin, rubblin, not a pretty sight.
