September 24, 201213 yr Who can't hit. That would seem to be the case. But, Jocketty must see something in Stubbs that makes him think Drew can work out of the funk. His defense and speed are so good that if he can rise above being a dead spot in the offense he can be around for awhile. The Reds don't need him to be Bruce or Votto but just hit enough to not torpedo the offense.
September 24, 201213 yr Dis Speier really say they would rather be the 3 seed than the 1 seed? The ESPN announcers were saying the same. If you are the 3 seed you get the first 2 games at home which they feel is better. I have mixed feeling's on the issue but it sucks to have the higher seed and start on the road.

September 24, 201213 yr Take the 1 seed all day. Agreed. I can see the argument that you possibly would rather be the 3 than the 2, but you should want the 1 no matter what.
