Jim Cooper of CCH shooting a game winning free throw after the game was officially over while bottles were raining down from the stands was wierd and scary.I think he had 2 shots coming and made the first and took off running for the locker room.

Strike three don't remember the details but Dwight Anderson did the damage. There may have been some calls ignored in that one.

Last year at a Middle School game I attended, the referee would not allow any time outs in the 4th quarter. She stated loudly to all that would listen that she wanted to make it home in time to watch Survivor.

The Nicholas County-Pendleton County incident was in the very beginning of the game only about two minutes into the game. It was during Tom Appelman's last year of coaching at Pendleton County. Andrew Gosney and Lonnie Miller of Pendleton blocked a shot by the Fryman kid of Nicholas County and all three players fell to the floor. It was Fryman's father that ran out onto the court and ripped the refs whistle right off his neck. The ref was caught totally unaware and the parent was promptly escorted out of the gym by the local authorities. I was there as well and it stunned all of the players and coaches.

In a game at Anderson County against Merecer County ( about 4 or 5 years ago) there was a tremendous rainstorm before the game started, and there was a leak in the roof over the floor just inside the 3 point line in front of one of the benches. They laid a folded op towell on the floor under the leak and played the game around it. During breaks in the game they would replace the saturated towel with a new one. They did this for the entire 32 minutes.
