I remember that. Good game. I see how people are upset about it thought. Anytime you see him, and talk to him about basketball he talks about hitting that free throw.

Heck, everybody thought the game was over and all of the sudden....boom!

The Estill Co/Lee Co fight years ago was a weird thing. I just sat there as the fans were going at it hoping not to get beat up.

A fan coming out of the concession area at Nicholas County to rip the whistle off of an official. The whistle was the type that attached to the shirt's zipper. Fan ripped it right off.

Definitely the most memorable shot I have ever seen.

I saw a highschool player shoot a freethrow, over top of the backboard....not bouncing off the goal, but directly over the backboard.

The greatest shot without a doubt is when Rick Jones hit the running three pointer, against Lex. Catholic, who was ranked 3rd in the country in the USA today, to put them into the state finals. There were over 22,000 fans there and everybody loved it because they wanted Catholic to go home.

I'll agree. I've never witnessed a game like that in my entire life. Mike Deaton's quote to me was that it was a Travesty and something to the fact that no wonder nobody can beat them here.

You should have been at the 14th Region tournament when it was at Powell Co. a few years ago.

Last year Dayton vs Silver Grove. A Dayton player had on two left shoes. I guess he played the JV game with two left shoes. During the varsity game both coaches met at the scorers table and with an official laughing about it.

Breathitt Powell....man, principals getting ejected, fans fighting. sad to see that tournament scarred. Powells win will be remembered for that.
