September 7, 201214 yr Does everyone just forget that Greg Williams admitted to everything and went away quietly? This is bad for the commish, and I disagree with the ruling.
September 7, 201214 yr Author Not a lot of meat in this story. I'm guessing the arbitrators didn't see enough evidence to uphold the suspensions. Very interesting. Too bad Sean Payton and the other coaches can't go this route.
September 7, 201214 yr I think some oversight for Goodell is a good thing. Wish there was another way he could be "checked and balanced".
September 7, 201214 yr "Consistent with the panel's decision, commissioner (Roger) Goodell will, as directed, make an expedited determination of the discipline imposed for violating the league's pay-for-performance/bounty rule. Until that determination is made, the four players are reinstated and eligible to play starting this weekend," the NFL said in a statement. Kind of curious what this means. Goodell will now make another decision on their discipline?
September 7, 201214 yr It has nothing to do with evidence or admitting what was done. The ruling was that Goodell didn't have jurisdiction.
September 7, 201214 yr It has nothing to do with evidence or admitting what was done. The ruling was that Goodell didn't have jurisdiction. More specifically it says he didn't have jurisdiction to hear their appeals.
