Colonels_Wear_Blue
We had Marco's Pizza delivered to the office today - they opened a new store nearby and some of the folks here at work decided the wanted to give it a try. Pretty darn solid for a chain. Anyway, I'd never heard of it before, and in looking it up online I learned that it was ranked as the 28th largest pizza chain by national sales in 2011. Made me start checking into some others. Top 5: 1) Pizza Hut - 13,432 stores doing $11,000,000,000 in gross sales. 2) Domino's - 9,400 stores doing $6,700,000,000 in gross sales. 3) Papa John's - 3,646 stores doing $2,390,172,000 in gross sales. 4) Little Ceasars - 2,960 stores doing $1,345,000,000 in gross sales. 5) California Pizza Kitchen - 252 stores doing $710,000,000 in gross sales. Others: 19) Donato's - 173 stores doing $168,000,000 in gross sales. 24) Gatti's - 126 stores doing $133,800,000 in gross sales. 25) LaRosa's - 62 stores doing $130,000,000 in gross sales. 26) Mellow Mushroom - 122 stores doing $128,600,000 in gross sales. 79) Snappy Tomato Pizza - 71 stores doing $26,000,000 in gross sales. Marco's is delicious! Only one location in Kentucky however, as the rest are in Ohio. Lucky for me, the one KY store is located 5 minutes from my house. Clyde
I like almost all pizza companies....except Papa John's . Something about their crust just ruins it for me.

I'd say it's somewhat similar to Jet's pizza - although the Jet's pizza I've had has had a little more sauce on it than the Marco's I had today. I like more sauce, personally. Ever tried Jet's? Papa John's crust is polarizing to people somehow. I like it a LOT, but I know people who would go hungry before they ate it.
Blue Magic
If Donatos would lower their freakin' prices I'd order that stuff weekly. Instead, it's a once or twice a year occasion. Love Pizza Hut $10 box.

I like more sauce, personally. Ever tried Jet's? I haven't yet. I've been getting bombarded recently with coupons though so I'm planning on trying it here soon. I'm the opposite, I'm more a fan of less sauce and more topping. Crust is crucial for me as well. With Marco's did you try the crust seasonings? The garlic ranch is a must try. I'm not sure...I had whatever it was that the lovely ladies here at the office ordered. I did notice that the crust had parmesan baked onto it, though. Nice. I like it a LOT, but I know people who would go hungry before they ate it. Yeah it's the strangest thing. I like their crust a lot too, but I know tons of people who are absolutely disgusted by it. Omega Man
Pizza huts are dirty! Love the food, but almost can't eat in since they are typically so gross.
halfback20
Pizza hut sucks. I'd rather have little caesars for the money. Papa John's is pretty good too.
