August 24, 201214 yr So you've never had Donatos' Thin Crust Pepperoni? Yes and it is good but I normally dont buy it. If its there I eat it but I always get the chicken Mariachi at Donatos.

August 24, 201214 yr There is a Mellow Mushroom within walking distance of my house (about a mile). It's good, restaurant and menu is a little quirky, but it's expensive. Still like Pizza Hut's Thin and Crispy dough pizza. Still my favorite of all, and it has nothing to do with the fact that they contributed to a good portion of my college education.
August 24, 201214 yr Hungry Howie's....Wow, how could I forget them? Our senior trip to Myrtle Beach was full of deliveries from them. :lol: Probably not that good, but in the shape we were in when we ate it, it tasted like heaven.
August 24, 201214 yr Ha I'm admittedly a confused german I like nothing you mentioned on that pizza, that sounds like the taste I might get in my mouth after bad night of drinking and throwing up some spicy food. Grosssss. Strangely enough, I ordered it without the kraut, but they put it on anyways. I had always been under the impression I hated the stuff, but I deicded to taste it before I sent it back, and it was delicious. Ate the whole dang thing in about 5 minutes. :lol:

Only food I like that I probably should is German Chocolate cake and I don't even like cake, go figure.

German Chocolate Cake isn't from Deutschland...it was originated by an American named Sam German for the Baker's Chocolate Company.
August 25, 201214 yr On the top 5 I've almost become a Dominos guy. Didn't used to be a fan but after their rehaul they have really won me over. This thread REALLY makes me miss Louisville. Etown has ZERO independent pizza places and nothing rivaling the top ten pizza joints in Louisville... Just one more reason why E'town sucks. Come on over to Bardstown some day and we'll head to Rebecca's Pepperoni Grill here in town. Outstanding brick oven NY-style pizza.

Agreed, Rebecca's has become a family favorite. I was so disappointed when Bearno's closed, but Rebecca's has really picked it up.

When they opened the one here in Citrus Park a month or so ago, again within a mile from my home, Mrs. S says she remembers getting one when up there a couple of years ago. Their website says they have stores in London and Glasgow now. The pizza is good, but their entrees are not to write home to Mom about.

Stop on by. My favorite: The 19-inch Meat Madness with pepperoni, bacon, sausage and meatballs. Usually good for about 3-4 meals.
