August 23, 201214 yr My prediction is that when all are healthy Dusty will not be using Frazier 4 to 5 days per week. Call it reading the tea leaves but his comments seem to me that he will be a PHer and occasional starter. I agree with your prediction.

August 23, 201214 yr He will get plenty of ABs. Id give him a day off a week if you have the luxury. They have an off day every week starting next week. I think that's all he gets, as long as he feels fine.
August 23, 201214 yr I would be tempted to put him in center field and make routine plays and take my chances on his defense. They need his bat in the line-up in the playoff's instead of Stubb's, but it won't happen.

Left the way Ludwick is playing and then at third you have one of the top thirdbasemen (Maybe in 1995) in all of baseball. Young guys sometimes have to wait theit turn" GIVE ME A BREAK:eek: Frazier should be "Rookie of the Year. He's bating .290 has 19 Hr 60 RBIS, plays great defense. You really gonna play Grandpa Rolen (.245 with a bad back) and bench Frazier? why don't you just bring back Willie Taveras and Corey Patterson, two of you other stellar decisions. Maybe in the playoffs we can rest Votto and Phillips and let Cairo and Valdez strike out. August 24, 201214 yr One week more of playing time and Rolen's OPS post all star break has dipped below 1.00. Just a matter of getting a few more at bats to dip it below Frazier's who has also produced very well after the break. Rolen has 9 errors this year, so the he's a lot better on D argument doesn't hold up that well either. Dusty will not care though.
August 25, 201214 yr He can DH in the WS, we won't need him PHing. I agree he will probably be a PHer in the playoffs unless Rolen gets hurt again or has a terrible finish to the season. Maybe 1 or 2 starts a series based off match ups. You have to get to the WS first.
