If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times, the Reds have some of the dumbest ballplayers I've ever seen. Absolutely pathetic.

Why the heck are they playing Pierre so far off the line?

Leake sucks.

See if Pierre shows the Reds in this series why they should have made a move for him at the deadline.

Reds won't score again off Halladay. They blew their shot in the 1st with just HORRENDOUS base running.

The Heisey base running snafu could come back to haunt the Reds. Leake giving up a run early is not a good sign.

Paul career vs. Halladay 2-5 (.400)

Cairo career vs. Halladay 5-15 (.333)

Just in case anyone was wondering why they're in there instead of Ludwick (0-9 lifetime) and Frazier....

Dusty and his numbers. I guess he overlooked the fact that Cairo is hitting .172 on the year and Ludwick has been hitting everybody.

Does anybody besides me think that the Reds need to show the rest of baseball that they can beat a good team like Phillie? I know they are not going to the playoffs but with Howard and Utley back they are still a good team imo.

They can't beat the Phillies in Philly. I hate watching them play in Philly as bad as the west coast trips.

A good team? They are 9 under and 19 out. I'm sure the rest of baseball is watching with baited breath...

Some more terrible base running, but a bad throw gives the Reds a huge break, and another run. Reds lead 5-3 heading to the bottom of the 5th.!

I will not even get into a debate with you on this one. If you don't think that Phillie is a good team then I don't know what to say. I'll take Halladay, Lee and Hamels as my top 3 pitchers anyday of the week. You also seem to forget that Utley and Howard both missed the first half of the season and now Ruiz who was hitting .335 is on the DL. Had those 3 been healthy all year this team would not have traded Victorino and Pence and would have probably been in the playoffs again.

Bad team or not, that staff is sick.
