Just thought I'd go ahead and get it out there early.

Volquez and the Padres beat the Pirates 3-1 last night. Reds still have a 6.5 game lead over the Bucs, and a 8 game lead over the Cardinals.

Tonight will lull all of us back into thinking Homer is worth a poo. He will have a solid outing and if the offense can put a 5spot on the board they'll win. That's my take.

I've never seen so many negative fans in my life. Are some of you guys Reds fans, or just people that like to complain about anything and everything? I can't believe so many of you hate on Dusty like you do. Have you forgot about Knight, Boone, Miley and Narron? It hasn't been that long ago. Dusty is a proven winner. Sure he may make some questionable moves, but what manager doesn't. I love the fact that the Reds are 25 games above .500, and leading the NL Central by 6.5 games. If Dusty wins the NL Central this year he'll be the first Reds manager to win 2 division titles since Sparky Anderson. Now that's something to think about. Go Reds, and Go Dusty!!!

I see this is your first post but I'm not sure if you are new or not. If you're new, you have to realize that there are quite a bit of posters that say one thing and mean another. For instance, LRCW doesn't know anything about baseball. To make it look like he does, he says that someone sucks. That way, if they do well he can say that the reverse jinx worked but if they actually do suck, he looks like he knows something.

 

A few other posters have copied his style but most of us know those guys would hit 8th, unless Leake is pitching...then 9th, in any lineup.
