Chris says it can not be invoked on a bunt. I'll take his word for it since someone probably did the research for him.

Took him a while to get that simple answer out.

Only reason I believe him. One of the geeks in the truck probably gave it to him. He can only take notes so fast.

Jusr looked it up. He is correct. No such thing on a bunt.

I don't know what they'll do but it's not as simple as throwing your 1 the first game and 2 the second game. Lots of variables, including when you clinch and who is the opponent.

They have two pitchers so much better than the 3rd that we don't even know who the 3rd best pitcher is. The Phillies had a decision last year. The Reds have 2 studs and 3 average guys. There really isn't a tough decision here unless they need one of the big two the last day of the season or in the wild card game just to get in the playoffs. If thats the case they will be at home game 1.

Right, there are too many variables to know now. If one of them is your clear #3 and they have a horrible track record against your opponent, your #3 changes. Pitching matchups can have a similar effect.

So you all are also saying you would have Homer pitch before Arroyo in the playoffs? If they are going to just go with a three man rotation then you go with Cueto, Latos and Arroyo. You could always then put Arroyo in the middle of those two and go game 2, since he is more of an off speed pitcher. Arroyo experience pitching in the playoffs would be a big help over pitching someone like Homer.

No I'm saying if they go with a 4 man I would pitch Homer on the road.

I got here just in time.

I swear, I just saw Pete and Mike Schmidt.

Should've gone with the baby blues

Lots of boos.

The home run.

Bruuuuce.

Rolen coming to the plate.

I got here just in time.

Me too.

Should've gone with the baby blues

Then we'd have seen Steve Carlton or Jim Kaat
