Plus, you can't use Chapman every night so you give him a break when you can. They've made it clear that they aren't going to beat anyone by 5+ runs very often.

He threw 3 pitches to get to 86. Was 86 the tipping point? If Rolen didn't fall down was he good to finish? If Dusty asked him which it looks like is the case did Bronson feel great at 83 but worn out at 86. I never even said it was a bad decision to leave him in. I asked if it was? So the rule in here is LRCW is allowed asking questions to gauge opinions, but I'm not? Neat rules.

August 23, 201214 yr Author Bronson has averaged 93 pitches per start. He's at 83 to start the inning with a 2 run lead you send him out 100 times out of 100 to try and give your bullpen that extra rest if he can get it done. Having them standing by at the first sign of trouble just like it was done tonight. That's just my opinion.
