Did Keirnan get in foul trouble? I would have though him and Guidugli or him and Johnson would have been fun to watch on the inside. All are very strong boys.

Picked up one right away on a charge. got the second on a double foul call in the second and sat. Picked up a third in the third quarter sat a little, got the fourth early in the fourth, then fouled out with maybe 2 minutes left.

NCC was up 19-15 with maybe 2 and a half left before the half, but Heil and Kiernan sat. Highlands came back on 1 and 1 foul shots and NCC still had the ball tied at 21 but threw it away and Highlands scored at the buzzer to lead 23-21. Big Mo swing.

I thought the game was determined early in the 3rd quarter, HHS obviously made some adjustments at the half and Vories came out and took charge in the 3rd quarter essentially scoring at will on 3 straight possessions. The Beuter kid is a good ballplayer but Vories clearly showed he was the superior guard on the floor. He nailed a big 3 in the 4th quarter right in front of Willie when most players would pull it out and work for a better shot, I'm sure Willie had no problem with that shot, especially coming from his playmaker. The Breds shoot well but Keirnan was never really in the game and HHS is very physical causing problems for the Breds when Keirnan was sitting.

I talked to Luke Heil's father this morning. He said that G. barely stepped on him and it was more of a glancing contact on the side of Luke's upper let or torso area. He also told me that Luke did not feel that G. stepped on him intentionally. I hope that brings at least this G. incident to a close. If anyone doubts what I've posted, feel free to ask Bob yourself.
