August 12, 201214 yr I thought the game came on at 3. Smh..... Matt Jones @KySportsRadio The Year of the Brow: Frosh of Year, Defensive POY, Player of the Year, Final Four MVP, National Title, NBA First Pick, Gold Medal. Wow! Has there ever been a collegian with a more accomplished single season?

August 12, 201214 yr Matt Jones @KySportsRadio The Year of the Brow: Frosh of Year, Defensive POY, Player of the Year, Final Four MVP, National Title, NBA First Pick, Gold Medal. Wow! If it wasn't for Davis being on the team, Matt Jones would have been chearing for Spain or anyone else in the world because of his hate for K and Duke, can't stand that guy and he wants Coach Cal to be the next USA coach. Seriously?

Seriously? They should make him prove his worth with Puerto Rico first.:sssh::lol:
August 12, 201214 yr I would guess the next USA coach will be an NBA guy. Collins, Doc or Popp. I will be surprised if it's not Doc Rivers.
August 12, 201214 yr Glad to hear that all of the players went over and hugged Doug Collins. Good to know they know their history.
August 12, 201214 yr Author I will be surprised if it's not Doc Rivers. Agreed, he skipped around the question pretty good but I have a feeling it will be him.

August 12, 201214 yr What did LeBron say after the game? I missed it. He was asked about how the past couple months had gone for him, with an NBA Title, MVP, and now a Gold medal. He responded with something along the lines of "This isn't about me, it's about the three letters on our chest." I'm not a big Lebron fan by any means, but he definitely won points with that answer.

Yeah I seen your post on twitter that's what made me want to know. Awesome remark by him.
August 13, 201214 yr Author Pretty cool of Coach K to clear the bench like that at the end of the game so everyone saw some time in the gold medal game. I can't help but like Coach K after these 7 years with Team USA.
August 13, 201214 yr If the U24 or 23 rule was in this year...where would the USA have finished? Would Sterns U24 rule just be for team USA or for all NBA players on all teams.
