August 7, 201214 yr So, how many of you have faith in Bronson in the post season? Depends on the series record.
August 7, 201214 yr As long as it's not at GASP I would be OK with it but just know to have the pen ready to go coming the 5th or 6th because the wheels fall off in a hurry with him sometimes.
August 7, 201214 yr Ok. Would you feel more comfortable with Bronson or Homer? Bronson but not by much.
August 7, 201214 yr Ok. Would you feel more comfortable with Bronson or Homer? Bronson 1-3, Homer 4-6, Marshall 7, Broxton 8, Chapman 9. Honestly, it's a crap shoot.
August 7, 201214 yr Bronson 1-3, Homer 4-6, Marshall 7, Broxton 8, Chapman 9. Honestly, it's a crap shoot. There's an idea. 3 innings of whiffle ball, 3 innings of cheese, and an inning of a left handed slurve that comes from the dugout, an inning of gas, and an inning of nitrous.
August 7, 201214 yr So, how many of you have faith in Bronson in the post season? I don't have faith in Bronson , and you can also throw in Bailey and Leake. These three pitchers are good enough to get to the post season, but not to go all the way. The Reds weak schedule in the second half, and their current record , will get them to the playoffs.
August 7, 201214 yr Yeah, no starting pitchers give up back to back homers. Right, he goes 6 innings and it was the 6th inning. You want him to throw someone in that isn't ready? You can't just pull the guy, you have to give someone time to get ready. You can say that he should've taken him out after a back to back homeruns and a single but he was a groundball away from getting out of the inning with only giving up two runs. The same way he got out of the previous inning. But, if that makes you feel better about a loss, so be it. Isn't it Dusty's job to make sure someone is ready when needed. Six inning back to back homers and a pitcher who has a history of going six innings. You don't have to be a genius to figure out that your pitcher is gassed. Fast ball 88 mph straight as an arrow, hanging curve balls at 77 mph, Ricky Weeks even got a single, what does that tell you.

If it's in the first round it should be at home if the Reds stay in the top 2 b/c of the new dumb rule that you start the series on the road as the higher seed then come home for the last 3 games. Stupidest rule I've ever heard.

Stupidest rule I've ever heard. That rule is almost as bad as the NCAA regulation that provides regardless of how many losses Duke's basketball team has in the regular season, they get to open NCAA tournament play in Greensboro.
August 7, 201214 yr Cozart 6, Stubbs 8, Phillips 4, Bruce 9, Rolen 5, Paul 7, Frazier 3, Hanigan 2, Cueto 1
August 7, 201214 yr John Fay @johnfayman Lineup coming shortly. Votto just hit back-to-back pitches 400-plus in early BP. I'm no doctor, but I'll play on Twitter: He's close.
August 7, 201214 yr Wow !! You giving up on the Reds , it's only the 6th inning. Reds and world series in the same sentence, please stop !! When it was 5-0, yeah I packed it in for the night. Didn't have the feeling of a game the Reds were going to come back on, I would have been thrilled if I was wrong. When did I ever say World Series?
August 8, 201214 yr This team is the most frustrating offensive team in the world. BP and Cozart hack at the 1st pitches they see and Stubbs stands there and takes 3 right down the heart of the plate.
