Logic that will be ignored......

Logic says you don't rest them all on the same day. :idunno:

Gotta have the guys available for the stretch run.
I also subscribe to the marathon vs. sprint logic, but the Reds don't have the luxury to play a JV squad against anyone. There's a significant difference in resting guys than having wholesale substitution after a 3 game slide.
As I said, ignored.

So you think it's smart to rest half your starting lineup in the same day as opposed to giving one or two a rest here and there?

I suppose we will disagree on this one then. More like ignorANT

I have no problem with Navarro playing today.

Never said that, but the guy has more experience than everyone on here combined. And, he knows his players better than anyone on here. He can make a plan to sit two and have one or two more come to him and say they need a rest. Fans are clueless as to why managers make decisions. After reading that article I feel more confident that he knows how to run a team. You guys find more to complain about. Just different views on things.

Except for the fact that he can't catch, neither do I.

Over/Under on 10 pitches for Wolf in the 1st? I'm going under.

I'm going over. Valdez will work the count.

As I asked before, you don't feel there is ever a legit reason for a fan to gripe about any decision a manger ever makes?

12. BP saved them.

Talk about someone looking out of wack....My goodness he looks lost right now.

Absolutely, just not after you read an article that makes perfect sense.

Although, in-game decisions are really the only thing I can legitimately question, but do so knowing I less about the player than the manager and coaches.
