Reds @ Brewers Series 8/6 thru 8/8/12

Yeah. I'm sure VOR will have an answer for us.

Nope. No answer for pitching to Braun. They will probably say they were pitching around him and not supposed to give him anything to hit. That doesn't work with a good hitter, especially a 'roider who can hit one 330 off his fists.

I also would have left Latos in. He was at 97 pitches. He would have pitched till a batter got on base. Give the starter the chance to win it himself but don't let him lose it late. Latos had one more inning in him.

The Yankees have played 109 games. Jeter, age 38, has played in 107 of them. Cano has played in 109, Texiera, who has been hurt, 103,A Rod (who broke his wrist 2 weeks ago and is old) 94, and Granderson 108. Please tell me why the Reds have to have so much rest compared to the Yankees?

And for what it's worth, the Yankees have had some success.

If the Reds had Jeter, Cano, Texiera, A Rod and Granderson, I guarantee you they would all be over 100 games played. How many games had Votto missed before he got hurt? Same with Phillips. Bruce has played in 107. Cozart in 104. But the Reds don't have a lineup full of players like that. So they have to play matchups and piecemeal it together to try and scrap out wins every night.

Hold on just a second. You honestly believe that if Baker had a 38 year old shortstop he would play him every day? Do the Reds have anyone as good as Nick Swisher? He only sits when he's hurt.

One other thing, is sitting Ludwick 2 times in 5 days when he is the hottest hitter on the team an example of piece milling?

Did he identify himself as BigGreenHorse or EZ?

And why would you insinuate that I would feel that way?

No I'm serious. I think the Reds will have their way with Wolf today.

Good call.

Hey, when you got it, you go it. And when you don't................

Votto says he is not ready to return.
