August 8, 201214 yr Author Guy at the office is in Panic mode. Blaming Dusty for everything under the Sun. Going nuts because Walt didn't get a lead off hitter at the deadline. How long have you and sumoroyal worked together?
August 8, 201214 yr Author Brewers bullpen is lights out. Ball game. Lead down to 2.5 and 5 after tonight.
August 8, 201214 yr Stop it. Never question a decision the manager makes. He knows way more than you, remember? You are correct. However, I clearly stated that the only thing that can be questioned is in game decisions.
August 8, 201214 yr You are correct. However, I clearly stated that the only thing that can be questioned is in game decisions. Why? Because you said so? Questioning why a manager rests half his starting lineup is every bit as valid as question as why he pitches to a certain hitter.
August 8, 201214 yr Brewers bullpen is lights out. Ball game. Lead down to 2.5 and 5 after tonight. It is when you're running up the likes of Paul, Navarro, and Stubbs
August 8, 201214 yr Bob Uecker could pitch this last inning, Reds are not going to score. I don't care what the Reds recors is, I don't wont't to lose.
August 8, 201214 yr How long have you and sumoroyal worked together? He just said if this team wasn't full of young athletes they would be in last place because of Dusty. Umm OK?
August 8, 201214 yr Why? Because you said so? Questioning why a manager rests half his starting lineup is every bit as valid as question as why he pitches to a certain hitter. Because you have zero knowledge of the discussion the manager has had with the player(s). You are aware of the situation in the game. You've made it clear that you aren't going to grasp the concept.
August 8, 201214 yr Like I said 2 runs max. We knew a cold streak was coming so you guys shouldn't be surprised.
August 8, 201214 yr I've always been a huge Bruce fan, but I'm starting to really lose faith that he'll ever amount to anything more than just an average player. Congratulations, somebody finally got it !
August 8, 201214 yr Don't blame me I wont be on the Dusty bandwagon. If everyone is healthy maybr you rest a guy but not with the injuries., Plus if we get to the playoffs we can win with three pitchers but gotta get their first. Arroyo is about done and Leake has shown nothing to indicate he's getting better. I'd feel better with Alfredo Simon starting and going five the Arrydondo (6), Marshall (7), Broxton (8) and Chapman (9). That's our weak spot:eek:
August 8, 201214 yr The Yankees have played 109 games. Jeter, age 38, has played in 107 of them. Cano has played in 109, Texiera, who has been hurt, 103,A Rod (who broke his wrist 2 weeks ago and is old) 94, and Granderson 108. Please tell me why the Reds have to have so much rest compared to the Yankees? And for what it's worth, the Yankees have had some success.
