When I hear a recruit say "I chose UK because of Coach Cal, the chance to win championships, get to the next level, and oh yeah Drake" I'll agree.

Any kid with a chance to play for UK has heard "championship" and "Kentucky" 1,000 times a day in gyms across the country the entire month of July. With UK coaches in those gyms watching them play. If that isn't a win then Drake sure isn't.

August 1, 201214 yr Reminded a few big recruits of how "in" Kentucky is. Not a big deal, not going to influence someone to commit, but it gives Kentucky some street cred if you will. High school kids love Drake, Drake loves Kentucky. Kennedy Meeks in a recent interview was asked what is on his iPod before games. "Probably Drake," he said. I don't get how anyone thinks this was stupid.
