Yes and it is fantastic!

 

I mean the high speed net. I have heard the TV part of it has had several issues.

Last spring when CinBell was in my neighborhood installing the fiber optic lines I let them talk me into installing it in the house. I already had Zoomtown and really did not notice a difference with my internet. However, I loved the TV feed, at least when it worked. There were so many bugs, it was obvious they were not ready on the TV end. It became so frustrating I had them come back to uninstall it. I would like to know what others think who have the TV/Internet package now. I've been thinking about giving CinBell another chance.

I talked to someone at Cbell a couple of weeks ago and they gave me "the we have all the kinks worked out speech" with the TV. Said they were using a better receiver and that was the issue.

 

On the Net, I have a higher version of it and it is way way superior to zoomtown if you are doing a lot of heavy lifting (video, uploads, moving large files, etc.) but if you are only surfing the net you probably wouldn't notice any difference.

My mom and dad have it. I really like it. Don't think they've had issues either.

Have them both. Have several computers networked and have not run in to problems even when 4 or 5 of us are online. TV works well although there are a couple stations that tend to freeze up on a regular basis. They are not the more popular stations so it hasn't been an issue.

All three of my brothers live in Ft. Wright. All three have fioptics cable and phone from Cincinnati Bell. They all rave about it.

Do you have the 10 mps or 20 mps service?

The Fioptics cable is a nightmare -- nothing but trouble and malfunctions! Everyone I know who ever had it got rid of it. I hear they got some really super-cheap cable boxes from a Chinese manufacturer.

I don't have the TV package yet, but a family member did switch this Spring.

 

Several initial issues and return trips after installation were a pain. But, once Bell figured it all out, it seems to have been okay. Occasionally a station will "lock up" and you basically have to reboot the tv and box. But, that's the only complaint I've heard in the last couple months.

I had it last year. I went back to Insight when they offered a lower package and Cincinnati Bell's original offer was set to expire. They were about the same in my opinion. Different stations and such. Insight offers more sports stations in its sports package, that's what got me over (plus the savings)

I've had it for several months now and I'd recomend it. I've had no problems at all, my internet is faster with less problems, my DVR box is a motorola and again issue free. I was not very happy with insight and when they sent me a notification that they were only going to charge me an additonal $13 a month for a service that I was already unhappy with I switched. My brother had it much earlier than I did and he had some problems with audio not coming through and pixalation of the image but they worked it out pretty quickly. It seems like they've worked out the bugs.
