June 19, 201214 yr Latos BAA on the Road is .306 and at Home it's .253, total its .274...Last year his total BAA was .233, in 2010 it was .217 and in 2009 it was .232...He isn't fooling anybody this year and it has nothing to do with stealing signs...He is looking a lot like the Homer of past, only with a worse mental makeup if that's possible :lol:
June 19, 201214 yr Could the Reds have had Gio Gonzalez for the same package plus Leake? Alonso, Grandal, Boxerberger, Leake maybe for Gio Gonzalez...Whether blocked or not in the Reds system both Alonso and Grandal are both BA top 50 guys and would have been coveted by a lot of teams, OAK only received one BA top 50 guy for Gio...It just seems like the Reds didn't really consider any other trades before pulling the trigger on the Latos deal...I feel like with Alonso and Grandal as the centerpieces the Reds could have had a few other SP to choose from...The Reds rotation would have then looked like this...Of course if Latos lived up to the hype I wouldn't be proposing such deals :lol: Cueto Gonzalez Arroyo Chapman Bailey
