Who is going?

 

Hopefully, it is organized flawlessly and goes off without a hitch. Anytime Cincinnati and the region can get positive publicity is a good thing.

First I have heard of this, anybody planning on going to it?

I've heard some advertisement for it on the radio. I feel like I've seen a commercial for it too. I do know that they also have a large countdown in Fountain Square for it as well. I will not be attending, but I do think its cool and can't be bad for the city.

I read that this is the first time that this event has been held in the United States.

I'd say it's a pretty big event even if local residents may not realize it. I read in USA Today a couple of months ago that the Cinci PD was putting all of their officers thru a cultural sensitivity training in preparation for the event.
