Absolutely Conner will win a state title in football before SK. Nobody but Trinity or St. X will win a title in 6A for the next decade!

 

That aside, we all watched a team with a D1 (SEC No Less) quarterback win three games last year. Further more, any public school program that incurs a key injury to a skill player turns a team with deep playoff expectations into a middle of the pack team. I have also seen Conner's freshman teams the last two years and I don't see the deep talent pool that others on this forum say they see. So I too am skeptical of the assertions made on this board. I do envy Conner and Cooper though being in 5A. No Highlands,no Trinity, no Cov Cath, no St. X (Not sure off hand about Lex Cath) . A public school could actually win a title in 5A.

Bowling Green won 5A last year, so that has already happened. Plus Highlands won the four previous 5A titles, and they are a public school. Also, Lexington Catholic is 4A.
