April 13, 201214 yr The "war on women", or the "state of women affairs" in this country should be debated in a separate thread. And I'd have plenty to say about it. I find it encouraging that women from all walks have rallied to support Mrs. Romney's right to be a stay at home mom. And as she stated, that's the career she chose. She should be afforded the respect for her choice, that women who choose to work outside the home expect. But, there is another element...the number of women who would love to choose the career of stay at home mom, but simply cannot. I don't think either women who choose careers outside the home, or those who choose their career to be stay at home mom can understand what those women face.
