April 12, 201214 yr Author Get this clown off my team. Throw your freaking fastball instead of bouncing a breaking pitch. Have some balls.
April 12, 201214 yr Dusty, Simon, or both? Lets start with Simon. Throw your freaking fastball instead of bouncing a breaking pitch. Have some balls. Agreed. Now we know why the Orioles cut him.
April 12, 201214 yr I'm at a loss right now....Why do you have 3 LH pitchers in your pen if you won't use one there?
April 12, 201214 yr I seem to remember only one or two people last year worrying about the lineup. No major offensive additions and they are struggling on offense still. I know it's still extremely early, but is it still nothing to worry about?
April 12, 201214 yr How in the world do you put a guy in the dugout that proved absolutely nothing to you. I like Walt, but are we really that desperate. What is his ERA for the year? Sheeeesh !! :irked:
April 12, 201214 yr Not in those exact words, but people act like games lost early in the year don't really mattrer. No they haven't. The only thing anyone has insinuated is that it's too early in the season to cast absolute judgement on this team or that it's not surprising they aren't in mid-season form in early April.
April 12, 201214 yr It wasn't -- they ruled it a wild pitch. My fault. Tomato, tomato. Regardless, game over. Yep, but I didn't want anyone who didn't see the gaffe to think it was on Mesoraco. He had no shot at that 56footer.

Well, I'll disagree. You have spring training, a mostly veteran club. And a manager that has no excuse for laying an egg with his staff. I don't think it's a stretch to weigh the merits this early.

April 13, 201214 yr Not in those exact words, but people act like games lost early in the year don't really mattrer. They all go in the lost column. I hate a loss in April just as much as I do in September. They all count. I believe the '90 Reds started 31-11 then went .500 the rest of the season. I'd rather get off to a fast start than struggle and make a push towards the end.

I'm just glad Kentucky won the NCAA Championship. Finally one of my teams won something. It had been since 1998 since one of my teams won a championship. That should help get me thru baseball season without stroking out. I may not even blast Dusty this year. Well, I probably won't go that far.:lol::lol:

I know it's still extremely early, but is it still nothing to worry about? Are we seeing a familiar pattern here again? In 4 losses they have scored a total of 7 runs.
