Looks like Stubbs needed the day off instead of Cozart. Heisey could have played center as good and certainly swung the bat as good.

Any particular reason you folks can formulate besides saving arms as to why the two best relievers haven't seen the field in that few game span? It's not like there haven't been crucial relief opportunities for them either.

The same reason Dusty would let Cordero sit for a week and then use him 3 days in a row. He has his mind made up where he wants to use guys and doesn't know how to deviate from that plan when things don't flow the way he thinks.

Is Brandon Phillip's cramps issue going to keep him out a month or did they determine it wasn't cramps and is really a strained hammy? Just asking since I am not there to get the daily updates.
