C'mon PP. Who really needs to grow some thicker skin here? Facts are facts. You are thriving on pure opinion and speculation. CAL has never been named in ANY NCAA investigations. I know you wished he was, but he wasn't. You remind me of a friend of mine who is a UNC fan. He hates Cal and prays for the day he is "caught" by the NCAA. Keep praying with him. Won't happen. When you live your life as a lie as he was doing, and with his personality being self centered as it is, the walls crumble in.

 

With that said, if UK has to go in another direction next year with a football coach, I would hope he gets a phone call. Sometimes these events that happen in peoples life give them a jolt of morality and a new found direction in life. If this were the case and he could prove to me (Barnhart and President of UK) that he was a changed man, I would hire him.

What Coach K scandal?

 

I have no clue. He's said twice now that Coach K needs to worry. I don't know what he is talking about so I assumed he is still gathering intel for his ESPN the Magazine investigative piece that exposes Coach K for something. Hopefully he treats us here at BGP first with his info.

I just don't think it would be a bad idea if UK hired him and Petrino came for his normal 2-4 year stint but turned the football team around and at least made UK a place where someone(a good established coach) would want to come to coach. With the way Joker is going UK is going to end up hiring a first time head coach or a young up and coming coach with no experience coaching against the best college football teams in the nation year in and year out.
