Now go check Brandon Knight, Kyrie Irving, Harrison Barnes and Kendall Marshall...

^???

Yeah, several of them are.:rolleyes: Did you really just ask that? You clicked on the wrong forum.
You have examples of people praising a white athlete for being "well-spoken"? From my experience people only make note when a black athlete is "well-spoken as if they are surprised. But Chris Rock said it best:

Whenever Colin Powell is on the news, white people give him the same compliments: 'How do you feel about Colin Powell?', 'He speaks so well! He's so well spoken. I mean he really speaks so well!' Like that's a compliment. 'He speaks so well' is not a compliment, okay? 'He speaks so well' is some stuff you say about retarded people that can talk.

Quick test. Go find one line in any article about Kyle Wiltjer that called him "well spoken". John Hood too if you're feeling frisky.....
Someone gets it...:thumb:

It's not a compliment.

I've never seen any of Wiltjer or Hood's writing pieces... Be careful making those types of judgements about people when you have no idea who they are or where they have come from.

So, we compliment a kid and now it's racial. Typical.

I'm making it about society in general...not any one person.

Quick answer: Possibly because they are not well spoken? Have reliable info that says Hood is a bit of a turd. Everything does not have to be about race.

Who made a judgment? It wasn't me.

Noel is a kid from a great family that has been educated at an elite level prep school. Because he's black it is a shock to some that he is "educated". That's reality...

Have you ever spoken to John Hood? I have. He's "well spoken"...

P.S. You can't use GT's example from above.

No, but someone could have taken Gold Sunrise's post the wrong way.

He's black? never noticed. Couldn't take my eyes off that flat top.

Chris Rock? Now that is a good example of "retarded people that can talk".
