April 4, 201214 yr I would have been shocked if he left or leaves UK in the near future. I just feel like he is smarter than that.
April 4, 201214 yr I have to think AD Mitch Barnhart put it perfectly yesterday...."The program was made for this man". The only NBA job that scares me is the Heat, and I don't think it's coming open for at least another year or two.
April 4, 201214 yr Hope he stays I like him, but if he does leave I have to research some about comments Nick Saban about him leaving the pro Dolfins. My point, Coaches leave jobs/people and thats a right we all have. Coach Cal has a good thing going, and will be able to pick and choose recruits.

I am not bashing him yet. It just seems that when he was at UK it was always rumored he was going to the pros, now that he is gone, no one says a word. Now we have a great coach, all you hear is pro talk. Pitino fell from UK to the pros and no one says anything else about him going there. Cal fell from UMass to the pros and now everyone wants him. Whats the difference. Is it just a UK coach thing.
April 5, 201214 yr Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Cal loves it at KY. He's got a big ego, and that ego can not get stroked more anywhere in the world than at UK. Everyone loves to be worshiped. Cals not going to be worshiped anywhere like he is here.
