April 2, 201214 yr I couldn't believe it when I read this. The only players they have for next year right now are Wiltjer and possibly Teague. I guess Shabazz and Nerlens are being taken into account for this? Other contenders are expected to be Baylor, Louisville, Ohio State, and Indiana.

April 2, 201214 yr Marquis Teague is gone...as is MKG, Davis, Miller, Vargas, Lamb and Jones. Teague leaving would be a mistake.
April 2, 201214 yr Marquis Teague is gone...as is MKG, Davis, Miller, Vargas, Lamb and Jones. I agree. Next years roster could look something like this: Wiltjer Harrow Poythris Goodwin Hood Cauley Muhammed Noel Bennett If Sam Malone doesn't make a complete recovery from his ACL surgery then I can't see them winning it all.
April 2, 201214 yr Teague leaving would be a mistake. Mistake by who? If there is an NBA team willing to pay him millions how is it a mistake?
April 2, 201214 yr I do find these odds to be strange. They cannot possible assume that Davis, MKG, or Jones are returning. Given that how could UK be the favorite unless they are assuming that Baz and Noel are coming to UK. I do like the idea of UK, IU, and Louisville all being in the top 6 or 7 teams in the country.

April 2, 201214 yr ^And.... And I have a very good source. Unless something changes, they're all gone. That being said, Kentucky will very likely land Shabazz Muhammad, Nerlens Noel and possibly Anthony Bennett.
April 2, 201214 yr Is a lot of this pre-ranking a way of Cal getting some much deserved respect in how he coaches these younger players? I think so.
