Final from Rupp Arena. GRC moves on to play Trinity at 1:30 on Friday.

Perfect ending to a poor day of basketball.

The Cardinals committed 3 turnovers while forcing 14 and shot 50% from the field.

Good luck Friday :thumb:

Nice job Cards!

Why "sour grapes"?

GRC will have their hands full with Trinity. As long as the guards can handle the pressure they should be compete.

Good win for the Cards! Fatkin & Howard with big games. Pressure defense was the key. Really looking forward to the game on Friday!

Boy do I love this team. So much heart. Adam Fatkin or "Fat " as we call him was everywhere tonight. Not only did he lead us in points, but had 5 assists and 7 block shots.....AWSOME!!!!! He was awarded player of the game. Taylor Howard just continues to impress and improve each game. Bopper being Bopper in running the team and passing to who is hot. This team is so unselfish and it shows. This and our defense is what has gotten them this far. Any one know if only 3 turnover in all of todays game was the lowest?

Congrats GRC! Back into the quarter finals of the Sweet 16. Good job this year and best of luck to you guys on Friday. I am looking forward to the game.

I'd say so Goldie. I can close my eyes and look at the winning teams and name individuals from those teams who had more than 3 turnovers.

Thanks PP. GRC is not a flashy team, just hard nose defense, mental tuffness and team work. I will take Bopper Stenzel over any guard there is. He has many games this year and no turnovers. Not many PG can say that.

Taylor Howard is one of the most underrated player in the state.

AMEN!!!! And to think this kid was playing at the Y last year. This was his dream to play in the state tourney....the kid is living his dream. He is a very good baseball player too.

Clark plays hard the entire game! I don't believe that will be enough Friday afternoon when they meet the Shamrocks. The way they looked today, I don't know if anybody will be able to match up with Trinity this weekend.
