As someone in the position to know without giving myself away as I want to remain unknown You should not start your sons now PRE K so early. BOYS do NOT mature as fast as girls and the extra year at home is more beneficial to them than girls .This is in maturity and accademically age readiness.If your childs B day is close to the cutoff date for enrollment give them that extra year at home then they will remain a part of the group they start off with and this is better for themtoo. They have made friends and formed certain bonds with their classmates .THE key DON T start them too early ........
