...so the perceived success of the 2008 season is based upon all previous years combined in a school's program even though the players and coaches on the 2008 team hadn't played or coached during the prior 30+ years? :lol: :banana:

24 players might be the amount of returning upperclassmen, but not the total from 9-12 on the team.

There is no pressure on any players and coaches at GC to prove anything. If the team continues to successfully run "The System" and play more aggressively on defense, then good things will happen this year.

Ashland plays a Home and Home with Greenup County each year, too. The reason that 2006 and 2007 were both played at Ashland was that 2006 was at the end of the contract and 2007 was at the beginning. It doesn't matter if you play first or last in a contract period as long as you play the same amount of games during the contract. That being said, the 2008 game is at Greenup County.
