  1. Would it be objective to say every kid in the state gets one "free" transfer? How about would it be objective to say that every kid who changes residences (no matter the reason)? I think they could remove the "mind reading game" from the equation if they wanted to.
  2. 5 coaches in 7 years. A coach who indictes by his action that Newport's girls job is preferable to Bellevue's boys. Lets state the obvious and say, maybe it is a Bellevue issue and quit questioning the coach.
  3. It doesn't mention it, but I don't know what that has to do with it.
  4. A really fine person from a great family. My prayers are with Donna, Anna, and the rest of the Murphy's.
  5. Obviously McDonald knows the game of basketball and was/is a very successful coach. In addition, know first hand dealing with parents, who often think their kids are much better than they are, is a major pain in the butt. However, I would guess that McDonald's bluntness and lack of people skills didn't exactly help the situation. In a nutshell I guess I am saying there is plenty of blame to go around here.
  6. LMB: For someone who was pretty upset about Mike Mitchell playing against Bell a few years ago, you seem pretty understanding about Scott County and their actions.
  7. Maybe it was the number 14th and 15th players' on the Scott County bench.
  8. With much pain. I am not proposing playing elementary players, but I do think you need to take the 12-14 players that are interested, try to add a few and see if you start slowly and get some momentum to keep girls, who might otherwise go elsewhere at Beechwood. However, that isn't getting a lot of support from you or Beechwood fan.
  9. If you never establish a program the soccer players certainly will be going to NDA and St. Henry. That is for certain.
  10. If there is a good core of young girls in Ft. Mitchell that play soccer and want to play high school soccer, does that enter into this equation at all?
  11. With only 300 in attendance, will they have another? Will it be at Pappa John's?
  12. I think Cutler does a good job with interviews and getting guests. However, he is so arrogant he is hard to listen to. The time C. Trent and Cutler are on together are very uncomfortable for the listener since it is obvious what they think of one another. C. Trent, while a very good writer, does nothing for me on the radio (much like Doc). Used to love the two angrys, but I guess I didn't realize how little they talked about sports. When you add in music it really minimizes that further. Plus the music is awful.
  13. So because you CHOSE to live in a place where there are clear disadvantages, you feel the need to change the rules for those who made a different (dare I say better) choice?
  14. Uhhh.... no. There is no such thing as an "extra year of eligibility" in high school. The reason doesn't matter.
  15. McDonald's All-American Mr. Basketball in NC. Consenus all american as a freshman. 1st round lottery pick. NBA Rookie of the year. Wow that gametime saw something in this kid that no one else saw. What an eye for talent.
  16. Are any animals treated better than race horses?
  17. Finally I am really done here, but I will circle back around and state one more time that just like in sports the more you narrow the talent pool, by definition the less talented staff you will have. LBBC would say hog wash, but he has spent days (probably a conservative estimate) arguing the opposite position on the private/public debate where he openly states the issue really is open/closed enrollement. Isn't that right LBBC?
  18. Why don't you figure out exactly where I am coming from rather than just spouting off?
  19. All I am asking for you to do is examine if reaching lost people is as important as pointing out sin? Hearsay thinks he can point the finger and win people. I don't think I can.
