Take this tread how ever you wish. However, the US has the most well off poor people on the planet. You have to look no further than their waist line to prove it.

Maybe in small town newspapers they are, but I would contend that is why such writers have never gone beyond the small papers they work for.

I really don't want to get into the debate about who should have been Mr. Football 4 years ago. However, Larry Vaught is very predicatable and a homer. Not a good combination, but apparently one that sells papers in Danville.

My guess is the feeder system is already in place through the NKSL, Klass, The Kings, the Kenton County Rec. programs, etc. Having young girls play, learn, and excel isn't the issue. The issue is until you start the program then these kids aren't considering Beechwood as an option for High School. Whenver you start the program it is going to be diffiicult, painful, and the foundation will be laid with younger kids. However, it takes that huge first step for it to happen.

What team in the state consistently beats teams that have more talent than them? For that matter what teams in the state even try to step up and play teams with bigger numbers and more talent?

I am impressed by how sharp everyone's memories of the game still is and how emotional the game still is to many. Honestly I can't remember games I played last week with the detail some of you remember this game.

Right. It makes much more sense to let all of the Ft. Mitchell girls choose other schools (that actaully have established soccer teams) to attend and then try to form a team with your non-soccer playing student body. That makes lots of sense.

Looking at their recent past schedules, this doesn't appear to be true. They have played home and homes with Russell, West Portsmouth, and Ironton.

Guru brough up that both Corbin and Middlesboro won't play Bell. Any others?

Granted you won't know a percentage, but is there any greater objective measure of ones spiritual condition than how they treat their resources?

It is between that person and God but that really isn't my point. I think we could agree that all people are not in the same place as far as "spiritual maturity" goes. However, if all votes count the same aren't we giving the spiritual mature as well as the spiritual immature the same vote? Identifying who fits what label is not important in this discussion to me.

Here is my problem with voting and I have two: 1. I think there would be times when a hard decision needs to be made and I am not sure the majority rule would be willing to make it. Maybe I am just cynical. 2. By allowing everyone to vote, you are giving equal weight to people's opinions who IMO shouldn't. There are people who never pray, should their opinion be equal to people who seek out God's voice regularly? There are people who do not build their life around sacrifical giving, should they have an equal voice to people who believe so ferverntly in the mission they sacrifice to make it happen? I could go on, but you get the picture.

I have heard that both money and support are problems.

Maybe for another thread but in a 162 game season how many more wins would a good manager account for over a bad one?

How about 5 coaches in 7 years, does that speak to the "quality"? How abou thow much Bellevue pays in comparison to other jobs does that speak to it?

Back on topic. It will be intersting to see how the coach handles coaching females and whether he changes the way he communicates or how they respond if he doesn't change.
