  1. Let's look at the "tradition" some of the young men from GRC will have the pleasure of being a part of, Corey Rogers was called "Radio" by the student section of Mason. For those of you that don't know Radio was a young mentally challenged African American who happened to have a movie made about his life. I assure you this act was a fine display of tradition! Something I would be proud to never graduate! Then there is Vinnie Zollo, as fine a young man as you will ever meet, the tradition rich Mason county folks chose a goofy picture he made and used it to embarrass him during a huge game in his career, wonderful tradition I have to admit. These are a few of the traditions Mason County should be proud of. On top of mistreating guests in your house what other traditions are you so proud to boast about? Hopefully all of these traditions will not go unnoticed by the powers that be in Clark County School system and when the new high school is built, we may have the opportunity to build a facility large enough to host regional tournaments. Maybe we can start traditions that result in good memories for all involved, not just the select few who are geographically lucky enough to be our neighbors. If this is what ungraduated proud tradition is, I would give it a GED and send it on it's way! Yes Mason fans you have a lot to be proud of! But sometimes the score on the board is not your greatest accomplishment!
  2. It is pretty obvious if you don't play for Mason county your feelings and what is said about and to you don't matter...at least some think that way! I think that is a lot of the problem with this whole thing. Mason County was given a gift many years ago in the form of a large gymnasium. Instead of using this gift to further the lives and enjoyment of many it is being used to further the causes and desires of a few. it is a shame too because this place would have tons of potential.:idunno:
  3. Why don't you let the buzzards have that one and try something else!:deadhorse: (nothing more fun than a battle of wits with an unarmed man)
  4. I think we've established that poor ole tradition can't graduate because he moves around too much! Gosh we had some hold backs in our day but eventually all our boys graduated! This tradition fellow not real smart or what?
  5. If I was the coach of GRC I would put the second place regional trophy in a spot that this team would see every day for the next year! This defeat may be and probably is the best thing to ever happen to the 2010-2011 GRC Cardinals. This group will be seniors and there will be no tommorrow in High school for them. If they can keep this wound open, they will be ready to play EVERY minute of every game next year! Say what you want but in the word,s of a western state governer..." We'll be back!":ylsuper:
  6. It all makes sense now! Tradition never graduates because it moves around so much!:sssh:
  7. Unless your Corey Rogers I wasn't talking about you!
  8. Corey Rogers was 13 or 14 when he moved to Winchester:D
  9. For some reason you cannot move from your assigned seats in Mason County!:idunno:
  10. I don't get it why is Fleming county a feeder program for GRC? Maybe Barnard from Lexington last year or the Setty boys from Ohio could enlighten me as to what you are insinuating!:sssh:
  11. It would be fun to put these teams on the floor and see which region could win it!
  12. Finally someone who has all of this in the proper perspective!:notworthy:
  13. It's not like Mason County planned the victory festivities in 2007 long before the first game was played now is it.:sssh:
  14. I'd say that trophy will go home with someone else...it won't stay in Mason county!
  15. What does the trophy have to do with you? Are you the trophy watch person or something? I'm confused as to why this has anything to do with Mason county if they made a statement by leaving the trophy. Get over yourself your opinion really has no bearing on this at all!
  16. GRC students sit under the goal 12 feet from the floor. I can guarantee Chad Jackson or anyone else for that matter were not charged before during or after the Scott county game. Maybe some of you have forgotten what it feels like to be on the other side of an upset, we did it to you in 2007 when Miller was a junior. The disappointment will fade as will the excitement you feel right now. Then we go on living life and hopefully treating our fellow man with a little common respect. High school basketball is not life! If you feel like it is, you may want to do some self examination and try to figure out another path in life that is a little more solid and worthy of your effort. GRC lost when they were supposed to win, it hurts for a while then it fades into memory and legend. Mason will win more games but I promise you they will lose some too! GRC will win more games but they too will lose eventually. To see people mistreat and ridicule each other over a game is sad....so sad.
  17. Scott by as many as they want!
  18. DING DING DING we have a winner!
  19. Notice the jersey hold? That call was there all night if anyone had wanted to call it!
  20. The kid is entitled to his opinion...it doesn't have to match yours!:idunno:
  21. Hats off to Mason Coach and players, they did exactly what it took to pull off the upset of the Cardinals.:thumb: Game was well called for the most part, and GRC had a chance to put it away many times but failed to hit the three's that have fallen all year. I hope the BGP'ers realize I love to stir it up when I can, and just like the Mason faithful love the Royals, I love my Cards! As far as the location of the game, it is not nor will it ever be fair to give one team an advantage no matter how slight in a game that has so much importance. Moving the tournament to a nuetral site gives all involved an equal starting point and will give you a better result as to who the best team is. Lastly, Panda has shown some breaks GRC may have gotten during the game, but I know there are a few that went the other way also! I would hope to see those as well! Good luck at Rupp Royals. You definitely earned the right to represent the tenth region!:notworthy:
  22. WOW, Real class all around guys, real class!
  23. Mason County is sitting in the drivers seat on this one, if they win it's because they are the superior program as usual, if they lose , it is as it should be! They come out fine either way. That is why GRC needs a statement victory! Twenty plus would be a statement!:ylsuper:
  24. Ain't Kentucky Basketball just grand?! You couldn't script this better if you tried! Still hate the drive, third trip in four days, but the look on the Mason faithful when the horn sounds will be PRICELESS!:popcorn::ylsuper:
