What worked well for Scott Co that game was Miller was in foul trouble in the 1st half & fouled out early in the 4th if I remember correctly.

Well ATown I agree, however you must have never reviewed a Elliott Co thread before because this topic has been beaten to death! 2 of the 3 reserves they had were seniors & no one else behind them will contribute more during the game or for that matter contribute more minutes next year. It is not the coaching staffs philosophy to develop reserves or play reserves. Therefore you may need to reassess your thoughts.

Setty is a great shooter, but it sure makes it nice for he & Middleton to have such a teamate that not only draws all the attention but who is so unselfish that gladly feeds them for those open looks he creates. I'm sure most any other shooter just dreams of such a situation. Hats off to Setty & Middleton for taking advantage of the situation and even more so to Miller for playing team ball & giving up his points for the good of the team.

No, but I'm it sure helps as it would give voters another look.

PT has great athletes that were not really great bssketball players, while EC has good athletes but much better baskettball players therefore the difference! Mason's kids have played against & with the Faulkners,Ferg & Maynard since they were 9&10 years old They know what they are capable of so I cannot believe they did not come to play! Regardless of what happened in Feb trust me Mason's kids knew what to expect.

Masom hy 20 or more regardless which Mason team shows up.

I think not enough credit being given to Elliott for Mason's play on Thursday night. When EC lost to them in Feb it was all due to Mason's defense & their size not how bad EC may have played that night.

I wouldn't say it was worse called game in the tourny & Hazard definitely would not be in the state if Whitaker not have transferred. He is really good but dribbles way to much especially against the press. He also needs to get his team in the game more. He plays a bit selfish for a point gaurd.

The Rockets have the athletes they just do not have the basketball players that Mason does. People speak of athletes way to much especially on the high school level.

Congrats to both teams on nice seasons as they are two decent teams who were fortunate with the draw they obtained. I look fo Mason to rest their starters a lot tomorrow.

You know I just do not get you! As of this post there are a total of 109 post on this thread & guess who has the only 2 derog post towards Elliott Co? You in Post 11 & Post 31! I did not get on here today expecting to find,or looking for, derog post toward EC from you & one or two others who make it their mission, but it could not be helped from being nocticed! I just do not get you at all. It must be personal!!

Look at todays box score in the H-L line by line, minute to minute & that should tell you.This is not a knock on the other kid as he plays very hard & is a good "D" player but it has been this way all year. Also I'm sure this is the first time you have seen them play at least this year.

Congrats to Paintsville, Slone & Co. great showing. It will be tough with a 6 man rotation especially with the upcoming opponents but best of luck.

RNC, now you know he cannot play against the states best competition & that Paintsville doesn't play anyone since there in the weak mountain region.
