  1. I hate it that we will not be playing GC next year but I am sure it's not because they are scared of us. I just wish things at Raceland would be like the old days when we would take the high road and not cry like other schools around us, that's what made Raceland great.
  2. Watch out for Greenup Co. I heard they beat Ashland and Rowan in scrimmages and beat Russell to open the season.
  3. I would like to know who picks these teams, because I for the life of me can't figure out how Tyler Farley did not make the first team for Raceland's region.:madman:
  4. Congratulations Ashland! Miller and Amburgey you 2 make a great combo! Coach you have done an awesome job with those girls.
  5. Heard they had hitting practice for 5 hrs on Friday.
  6. Congratulations to Chloe and her team mates, they are a great group of softball players!
  7. Great win for our boys and coaching staff. Raceland had an off night and still walked away with the W, signs of a great team with great coaches.
  8. Yes, two of the varsity starters are pitchers for jv and has played jv all year. One is a sixth grader and the other one is a seventh grader. The other varsity player is a sophmore and plays second base. From what I understand she played outfield and was there just to get time at the plate, she has struggled with the bat lately and I am told that she was not a factor in the win, had one base hit.
  9. First I would like to say congats to Coach Trimble and his staff for a job well done. To the Lady Rams, that was the best ball game I have seen this year, you played with great determination and as always a lot of class. You girls had some big shoes to fill this year and those shoes might have been a little loose in the beginning but now you are filling them nicely on and off the court. To the Lady Rams that have moved on in the last few years I want to say thank you, you girls are the rock that this program is building on. With the coaching staff that is in place and the great participation in the youth leagues, Raceland will be a powerhouse in the 63rd for years to come. LADY RAMS 63RD DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!!!!
  10. I totally agree with you Springsteen, but I would have to say Cory Clark still has a lot to learn when it comes to officiating a game.
  11. Jason Clark is the new Raceland Softball coach, good luck to the girls next season they are going to need it. :scared:
  12. Her name is Alex Meade, and yes she plays jv and varsity. I think she is in the ninth grade.
  13. Anyone know if the games will be aired on the radio? If so, what station?
